‘…and He healed all their sick’ -Matthew 12:15

Saluti da Frascati!

We would like to take a special opportunity to ask you to pray for the sick of our family–our church family. First, we PRAISE God for the miraculous healing of Chantal. Doctors cannot explain it, and we trust she will continue to grow in strength. We ask God to do the same thing for two people in our community battling cancer: Paola (mother of 2), and Giulia (13 year old part of our youth group). Medically, their cases look very bleak and medications don’t seem to be working. But we know a God who is stronger than any medicine–than any disease. And we know He delights to heal. We trust He can ‘heal all our sick’ if that is His will. Please plead with us for the Lord’s mercy and healing.

Another need in our community is one of forgiveness and reconciliation. Please pray for us that we stay humble and filled with the Spirit to love and forgive. Pray for unity among our members.

Robert had a blessed, refreshed time in Germany with pastors from all over Europe. Michi passed his university entrance exams. The young adults have begun monthly meetings. We continue to look and plan for a church location. We continue to press on in faith.

God bless you!

CC Frascati

Buon Anno a Tutti!

Happy New Year to our family and friends around the world!

We thank the Lord for all of His blessing in 2012, and for your faithfulness to pray for us.

Over Christmas we had the Case family from Washington, USA (family of our staff/’adopted’ daughter Allison). Robert and Kim Case spoke at our marriage conference and Robert preached both Sundays. We are thankful for the blessing of their fellowship.

Please continue to pray for our family: Robert-strength, grace and wisdom at work, home and church; Chantal-physical strength, especially for new job undertaken as well as her sewing/design done from home; Tania/Marco/Michi-wisdom and strength as they are in school and making life decisions. We pray that they continue to seek God and live in His power and grace.

We continue to ask the Lord for provision, especially for Robert to go to the pastor’s conference in Germany on January 21.

The Marriage Conference was a blessing to all of the married, dating, single who attended. Again, we thank Robert and Kim and CC Rome for participating with us. We look forward to seeing the fruit from this event as discussion and counseling and spiritual growth take place in our church body.  Tania did an excellent job with the childcare and, though the turn-out was less than we expected, we know the families were blessed.

Please be lifting these things up in the new year:

  • A new place of worship–rooms to rent
  • Spiritual growth for all members (Ephesians 3:14-21)
  • Unity among members, sense of belonging and commitment
  • Giulia (13 yrs old)–complete physical healing
  • Paola (mother of 2 young girls)–complete physical healing
  • Armando (Laura’s brother)–release from prison and acceptance of Jesus
  • Conversion of Alberto, Elena, Franco, Riccardo, Enio
  • Young adults that Allison and Tania are reaching out to–direction and moving of the Holy Spirit in this community
  • Bapstism for Claudia, Valeria, Domenica, Francesco

Once again, thank you for your prayers. We trust that the Lord is good and will accomplish what He desires in our hearts and in our community this year. Let’s ask Him to move! Thank you for standing by us.
